Ally did two TV internships while in school; one at our sister station WMBF in Myrtle Beach, SC, and WFLA in Tampa, FL. During her free time, Ally loves to travel, be outdoors and go hiking and be on the water, try new restaurants, and of course, since she grew up in Durham, NC, watch sports specifically college basketball and football.
Ally had a fear of storms when growing up, which with time, led to her fascination and her dream of becoming a broadcast meteorologist. Ally admires the local broadcast meteorologists as heroes of the community and ambassadors of science and hopes to be that in her new community.
