Nowaski is working for KTEN, serving as the morning and midday meteorologist. After graduating from college, she kick-started her career at the station as the weekend meteorologist and was promoted to the morning shift in July 2020.
Since launching her career, Nowaski has broadcast numerous historic weather events, including the notorious February winter storm in 2021 and the devastating tornado outbreak of April 27-28, 2024.
During the 2024 tornado outbreak, Nowaski and the KTEN Weather team delivered minute-by-minute, life-saving broadcasts for southern Oklahoma. The KTEN Weather Team received recognition for its efforts to save lives during that outbreak. The Oklahoma State Senate and House of Representatives recognized the team with Senate Resolution 44 by Senator McCortney during the 2nd Session of the 59th Legislature.
Nowaski loves being a part of Way Too Early and Good Morning Texoma with her real-life best friend, Bailey Vaughn. The pair enjoy getting out and about in their community. They have emceed the Walk to End Alzheimer’s every year since 2021, worked with the Grayson County Child Advocacy Center, and served as judges for the Magnolia Festival in Durant.
