From May 2016 to March 2019, Macari held the position of Morning Meteorologist at WAGM-TV in Presque Isle, Maine. His meteorological career began as a News 7 Meteorologist with the Vermont Center for Community Journalism from November 2014 to May 2016.
During this period, he also worked for one year and seven months as a Project Supervisor at the Vermont Institute of Applied Meteorology/VTrans. Additionally, Macari has experience as a Road Weather Forecaster and Parks and Recreation Maintenance Division Laborer with the Town of Johnston, Rhode Island, from July 2009 to April 2016.
