This is not his first time serving the station, as he previously worked as a sports reporter and feature reporter for “This Week in Mizzou Football” and “Mizzou Basketball with Quin Snyder” for 3 years. He then moved to Columbia in 2004, where he served KGUN in Tucson, Arizona for 2 years. Next, he returned to he Midwest, serving KAKE in Wichita, Kansas.

In 2010, Arnet relocated to Buffalo, New York, where he served Your News Now Buffalo as a sports anchor. The following year, he returned home and helped launch the Mizzou Network with Mizzou Athletics in Columbia. He spent 9 years reporting on Mizzou sports on several platforms, sharing many stories of athletes and broadcasting some of the biggest moments in Tiger history.

Arnet did play by play for SEC Network Plus, starting in 2014. In this capacity, he called over 250 games in 7 different sports. Additionally, he was the host of “This Week in Mizzou Football” and “This Week in Mizzou Basketball” on KOMU and Fox Sports Midwest from 2014 to 2018.

Serving KOMU 8 in his hometown as the sports director is a dream come true for him. While growing up, he was a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Missouri Tigers, and St. Louis Blues. However, he has followed all of the sports teams in the Show Me State his entire life.
