Lakewood, Colorado is his native home. He attended the University of Colorado where he graduated proudly. His journalism career began at KOTA-TV in Rapid City, South Dakota where he worked for one and a half years. Later on, in 1998, he relocated to Grand Junction to serve as a reporter, producer, and anchor.
A few years later, he left his journalism career to work in advertising, public policy, and the communications department. In 2007, he returned to the news desk and he worked at KKCO for a number of years before he decided on another adventure that took him to New England.
He moved to Burlington, Vermont where he worked at WVNY/WFFF-TV serving as an evening anchor. Furthermore, after spending two years in the Northeast, he returned to Grand Junction.
