While in college, she interned at WTNH and cheered on the Bulldogs in all sports, mainly in football.

Before joining the station, Finello worked as a digital meteorologist in Indianapolis, Indiana, for 2 years. There, she broadcast snowstorms, extreme heat, and even had the unique opportunity to cover the Indy 500!
The northern New Jersey native developed her passion for the weather in high school following Hurricane Sandy. She realized that she wanted to study weather help others prepare for severe weather situations.
After graduating from college, Finello relocated to Springfield, Missouri, and lived there for 3 years. During her career, she has broadcast a variety of weather, including tornado outbreaks, record heat waves, historic ice storms, and record cold snaps.
