Cleveland, Ohio is his native home and since he was a young boy, he has always been interested in weather and by the time he was 6 years old, he knew he wanted to be a meteorologist. He attended  Copley High School in Copley, Ohio and while he was in school he had the opportunity to be a member of the program with a TV meteorologist and a National Weather Service meteorologist.

Later on, he joined The Ohio State University where he studied meteorology. He was able to secure a job at the NBC station in Dayton, Ohio where served as a morn meteorologist. Later, a FOX affiliate station requested him to start an entire weather department from the ground up and served as the station’s first Chief Meteorologist in Traverse City, Michigan.

He then received a job opportunity at WWL-TV, the CBS affiliate on the Gulf Coast where he served as the weekend meteorologist and worked in the station for more than three years. Furthermore, during his leisure time, he enjoys playing basketball, playing soccer, hiking, golfing, and biking.
