Central Coast in Watsonville is her native home. Not long after, she transferred to Eastern New Mexico University where she earned her degree and started her broadcast career, and worked at the leading PBS affiliate in New Mexico. She first worked at  “News 3 New Mexico” serving as an anchor, reporter, and producer.

She also received many honors at her university in May 2007, such as “Outstanding Undergraduate in Broadcast Journalism.” In 2006, she did her internship and a year later she was able to secure a job at KSBW where she served as a reporter. Later on, in 2010, she was promoted to serve as a weekend evening news anchor.

Prior to joining the California Central Coast’s #1 weekday morning news in 2014. She is also a proud member of the National High School Rodeo Association. Furthermore, from 2001 to 2002, she served as Miss California High School Rodeo District 4. In addition, in 1999, she won the California Rodeo Salinas Pro-Am Team Roping. While serving as a journalist, she has proven that she is a good medium in terms of the ring of her love of The California Rodeo Salinas into the homes of viewers.
