Silber was a member of the team that produced an award-winning broadcast celebrating the life of the Reverend Billy Graham in 2019. That broadcast won the team a North Carolina Association of Broadcasters Breaking News Award and an Emmy nomination. It also made it to the final three for Breaking News/Big Story Coverage in the TEGNA Pinnacle Awards.
Before moving to North Carolina, Silber worked at KOLN/KGIN in Lincoln, Nebraska, for four years. He spent three of those years anchoring the morning news. He was the evening anchor at WJFW in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, for two and a half years before his time in Nebraska.
