Her TV career began as a sports anchor and reporter in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

While in college, she worked for WFSU and SunSports as a sports reporter. For four years, she was a member of the FSU Cheerleading squad and served as a co-captain for one season. When coming to her education, she attended the Florida State University Seminole and she is a proud and honored graduate of Florida State University Mass Media/Communications school.
