Throughout his career, he has received accolades from the Associated Press and the New York State Broadcasters Association. However, he says that his most cherished personal achievement was when he completed the Richmond Marathon in the year 2016. Besides working as a journalist, Horvatits has worked at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens Restaurant, where he held various roles, including waiter, busboy, and shuttle driver, from June 2008 to June 2013.
When it comes to his education, Horvatits is a proud 2013 alumnus of the State University of New York (SUNY) at Oswego, where he studied for 4 years. He graduated with a degree in Broadcasting and Mass Communication. At SUNY, Horvatits also pursued athletic coaching and public justice. He is also an alumnus of St. Mary’s High School.
