Early career;
Neyenhouse has always known he wanted to be a sports anchor since he was young, when he was the official PA announcer at his high school’s basketball games. After graduating from college, he launched his broadcasting career in Kearney, Nebraska, where he was a morning assistant producer and reporter at KHGI. He then moved to Rapid City, where he was a weekend sports anchor at KOTA Territory News.
During his time in Rapid City, Neyenhouse broadcast the Rapid City Rush’s CHL championship in 2010. Later, he worked as the sports director for KMEG in Sioux City, Iowa. In Iowa, he broadcast the University of South Dakota’s Women’s NIT title in 2016 and the exceptional season of the Sioux City Explorers baseball team. Moreover, he reported on the launch of the career of Eeli Tolvanen while he played for the Sioux City Musketeers.
During his time in Tampa, Neyenhouse discovered his love for adult co-ed kickball. Two months before joining KY3, he tore his ACL in a collision near first base. He is excited to get back in shape and do the thing he loves, broadcasting local sports.
