In his departure, he stated that his next stop would not be to another television station, but to something out of television news – something far from forecasting! He accepted a job in PR. He stated that this job gives him an opportunity to spend more time with his family, unlike the TV job.
Morning newscasts met a perfect match with his contagious energy and smile. He covered all from snowstorms, ice storms, tornadoes, and the most enormous and dangerous hurricanes. Craig’s career has taken him to various TV stations countrywide including Florida, Kansas, and New York his home state. He last worked at CBS6’s sister station in West Palm Beach, Florida before joining the headquarters.
While at the sister station, he loved his five years there but ultimately missed the change in seasons, pumpkin and apple picking, watching the leaves change color..things like that. Craig is not surprised by how harsh winters can be in the Northeast, having grown up on the North Shore of Long Island. But, he’s flawlessly content trading those palm trees and beaches for tall oaks and mountains! He discovered his passion for skiing as a child when he visited the Adirondacks so don’t be shocked if you bump into him at any of the area’s ski spots!
During warmer months in his free time when he’s not skiing, you might find him hacking it on the area’s many public golf courses. Sasha, a yellow lab, 55-pound lapdog, is his greatest companion that he loves spending time with.
