Dante Stanton Education
Stanton studied at Concord Community Schools and attended Goshen College in June 2020. In 2024, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting and Journalism minor. As a high schooler, he ran cross country, worked with the school tech crew, and played in several groups. Further, he played trumpet for seven years, including four in the marching band.
In December 2019, he started serving Goshen College’s on-campus radio station, 91.1 The Globe. He started working as a sports director of radio and TV in the fall of 2021. Since joining The Globe, he has received 20 award nominations for the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System, winning three of those.
Stanton won 8 awards at the College Media Association Awards in 2023. He has also numerous state awards for audio and video production. Moreover, he has received three Indiana Broadcasters Association Scholarship Awards. Additionally, he won recognition from the Broadcast Education Association.

Besides sports, Stanton loves covering stories throughout Michiana and is prepared to step out during harsh weather to broadcast the conditions. He worked alongside a team that won an Emmy nomination and covered the 2022 Holiday Blizzard.
One of his favorite moments at WBND includes spotlighting a local child battling CASK disorder, covering State Finals Football, sliding the hill at Wilson Park, and putting together a feature on a veteran who received a wheelchair ramp.
Stanton kickstarted his journalism career in 2018 as a sports intern at the Regional Radio Sports Network. During his time there, he was a color commentator and play-by-play.
