In 2016, he returned to his role as sports director of Red Raider Nation after working at KLBK News where he served as a co-anchor. Furthermore, while he was in Lubbock, he covered the men’s basketball team’s run to the 2018 National Championship game, baseball’s four trips to the College World Series, and he served as the host of “The Bob Knight Show” and “The Pat Knight Show” during their time with the men’s basketball program.

He attended the University of Oklahoma where he graduated proudly in 1999. Later on, he was able to secure his first on-air job at KMVT in Twin Falls, Idaho.
