Custer serves at WNEM-TV as a Weeknight News Anchor. Previously, he was in Toledo, Ohio, working for an NBC-affiliated television station, WNWO-TV. Before that, he was working for WSMH FOX66/WNEM-TV5 in Flint as a reporter of the weekday newscasts, as well as an anchor of the weekend newscasts. There he stayed for 4 years 3 months.
