Dominic Miranda Education
Miranda joined DePauw University in Greencastle after completing his studies at NorthWood High School. In 2019, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism. He played football for three years and switched to working in front of the camera following two concussions and one torn ACL.
Miranda worked as an intern at ESPN 1070AM The Fan in Indianapolis. He also landed a semester-long internship with CNN Sports at the CNN Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. During his time in the Sunshine State, he broadcast Florida State, Valdosta State, Florida A&M, and over 50 high schools in Big Bend and South Georgia. Though he misses the consistently warm and sunny days there, he couldn’t be more thrilled to return home.
Miranda worked as a news and sports multimedia journalist and anchor at WTHI News 10 in Terre Haute, Indiana, for 2 years before moving to Florida. There, he covered the short return of federal executions, the 2020 election, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Miranda served as the lead reporter for WTHI’s “In the Zone” and “In the Paint” high school football and basketball shows. Also, he broadcast Indiana State University Athletics and shed light on the stories of athletes all across the Wabash Valley.
