He still liked math and science and was in high school in the weather club. As the Chief Meteorologist, he began his career at WHSV TV3 Winchester in the beautiful Virginia Shenandoah Valley. It was here that the prestigious AMS Accredited Broadcast Meteorology seal was granted to him.
He landed a job soon after, at WTTG-TV in Washington, D.C. When operating in the Mid-Atlantic, he covered all various forms of weather activities. The catastrophic Tornado Outbreak in 2011 and the multiple destructive East Coast blizzards, including Hurricane Sandy coming ashore, to the Derecho of June 2012. He was swapping the snow for the sun and some fog! When coming to his education, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Penn State University. At college, PCN-TV, a local cable channel, was his first on-air experience.
