Since 2016, Wolfhard has starred as Michael ‘Mike’ Wheeler on Netflix’s Stranger Things opposite Gaten Matarazzo, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, and Sadie Sink. Finn Wolfhard Career
Wolfhard’s initial acting experience was in 2012 in the music video for Retro Oceans by Vancouver band Facts. 2 years later, he debuted on TV with the role of Zoran in the second season of The 100. The following year, he starred as Jordie Pinsky in Supernatural. In 2016, he started starring as Mike Wheeler in Netflix’s Stranger Things. He and his co-stars Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin competed against each other in an episode of Spike’s Lip Sync Battle in 2017.
Wolfhard worked as the co-director of his first music video with Josh Ovalle for Sonora by Spendtime Palace in July 2017. That same year, he had his feature film debut as Richie Tozier in Stephen King’s It. He split from his former agency, APA, in October 2017, hiring former agent Tyler Grasham after allegations that Grasham had sexually assaulted aspiring young male actors. In January 2018, he signed with Creative Artists Agency. He starred as the altruistic and thoughtful pizza delivery boy, Tyler, in Dog Days.

Wolfhard starred as Miles in The Turning and co-starred in Omniboat: A Fast Boat Fantasia in January 2020. Next, he appeared in the Jeremy Schaulin–Rioux–directed short film, Rules for Werewolves. He worked with Adult Swim on two productions where he provided the voiceover for Smiling Friends and JJ Villard’s Fairy Tales. He joined the cast of Home Movie: The Princess Bride, which raised funds for World Central Kitchen. Also, he read live The Princess Bride‘s script, as the Grandson, for a Democratic Party of Wisconsin charity event in September 2020.
Wolfhard debuted as a director at the age of 17, with the comedy short film, Night Shifts, a film he released on YouTube the following year. He co-starred in When You Finish Saving the World as a 15-year-old boy recording audio sessions to a futuristic bot therapist, Ziggy Katz. Wolfhard worked as the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and songwriter for Calpurnia, a Vancouver-based rock band, until the band dissolved in November 2019. He began a new band with Calpurnia drummer Malcolm Craig named The Aubreys. The Aubreys debuted on the soundtrack of his film, The Turning. On March 10, 2020, they released their single, “Loved One.” Additonally, they marketed their debut EP, Soda & Pie, on March 13, 2020, through AWAL.
