Before joining FOX 19, he worked for WFMJ TV21 in Youngstown, Ohio as a Weekday noon/morning meteorologist for nearly 6 and a half years (December 2000 – July 2007). Before that, he worked for WTAP-TV in Parkersburg, West Virginia as a weather anchor from January 2000 to November 2000.
During his time in Youngstown, Marzullo received the Ohio Associated Press Award for Outstanding Weather Operation for 2 consecutive years. Additionally, while in college, he gained experience working behind the scenes at TV stations in Cleveland, West Virginia, and Huntington. Marzullo holds AMS’s (the American Meteorological Society) Seal of Approval and is actively involved in NWA (the National Weather Association).
During his leisure time, he likes trying new cuisines and new restaurants (he’s always on the plan of what he’ll eat next!), or spending time in the kitchen (he really loves cooking – he is the one who prepares dinner at home!). He also loves cheering for sporting events – his fav teams are the Bengals and Browns, or volunteering for Cincinnati’s charity causes.
Marzullo actively works with Cincinnati Museum Center Duke Energy Children’s Museum, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the American Heart Association. He is a strong advocate of local food bank efforts, and he really loves mentoring school children and teaching them about the weather.
