He received a regional EMMY nomination, for reporting about “cancer alley” in 2021. Prior to this, he worked as a general assignment reporter for KTVI, the CW and Fox affiliate in St. Louis, Missouri. There, he broadcasted the 2016 presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton.

Jordan was the lead anchor in the search for the missing Berkeley woman “Monica Sykes”. Additionally, he served as the initial reporter on the scene when her corpse was found. He moved to Chicago where he broadcasted the Cubs’ historic 2016 World Series title. In 2017, he broadcasted upscale reports live from New Orleans when a resident in St. Louis was hospitalized after a drunk driver crashed through Mardi Gras crowds. Before St. Louis, he worked at networks in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Lake Charles. Jordan has broadcasted tornadoes, hurricanes, ice storms, fires, floods, and everything in between. During his outstanding performance in his journalism career, he has received the Louisiana Associated Press, the National Association of Black Journalists, and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences- Suncoast Region.
