Kent joined the University of Arizona in 2010 after completing her studies at Marina High School. In 2014, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism.

Kent was a weekend anchor/producer and a weeknight multimedia journalist at KSNB/NBC in Nebraska. As a “one-man band,” she wrote, shot, and edited her reports. She also set up her own live shots for big weather events and the city council beat.
Kent has fond memories of working as a field producer and anchor at some of Nebraska’s biggest community gatherings, including the State Fair and the yearly Kool-Aid Days in Hastings, the birthplace of Kool-Aid. She launched her broadcast career in Tucson, Arizona.
