His interest in weather began at an early age and has enjoyed forecasting the weather for Northern California. Montana is his native home, has always loved living and working in the western United States. Before he relocated to California, he worked in New Mexico, Washington, Idaho, and Utah.
He attended the American Meteorological Society where he graduated proudly in 2005, with the prestigious Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation, and in 1998, he earned the original American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval.
In addition, he also worked for the National Weather Service in Salt Lake City for four years as an undergraduate. Prior to sharing his interest in weather and the importance of science education with students and other groups. During his leisure time, he enjoys watching and playing sports especially football, basketball, and golf, listening to music, going to the gym, and watching movies.
