Jordan serves at FOX 8 News as an evening news reporter and noon news anchor. Before joining FOX 8 News, she worked for WPIX-TV/CW 11 in Cleveland/Akron, Ohio as a fill-in anchor and general assignment reporter for 2 years and 7 months. Her journey began in the year 1991 as a Field Producer at WSOC, where she gained valuable experience behind the scenes. After a year in this role, she moved on to WBKO-TV/ABC in September 1992, serving as a Weekday Morning Anchor and General Assignment Reporter for a year.

In September 1993, Jordan took on a new role at WFIE-TV/NBC as the Weekend Anchor and Medical Reporter, where she honed her on-air skills and reporting expertise. After two successful years there, she transitioned to News 12 Westchester in January 1996, where she became an Anchor for the next six years. During this time, she also assumed the role of Medical Reporter.

Jordan’s career continued to flourish, and in November 2002, she joined WCBS-TV as a Reporter. She spent 3 years in this position before moving on to WNYW-TV/Fox 5 News and WWOR-TV/My 9 News in June 2006. During her time at both stations, she served as a Reporter, with additional responsibilities as a Fill-In Anchor at WNYW-TV. From there, she now moved to WPIX and then eventually to FOX 8 News.

She has also been instrumental in the coverage of Times Square’s car bombing and the fatal shooting of a police officer in Jersey City. Jordan went to New Orleans to see the special naval ship, USS New York, made from steel from the World Trade Center. She told everyone about it in her special report. Jordan found some problems with security at popular places in New York City, like the Empire State Building. She told people about these issues in her news report.

Jordan was the main reporter covering a sad event where the police shot an unarmed man on his wedding day. She worked on a big investigation called “Predator Next Door,” which had many parts and was very intense.

Throughout her career, she has won several honors and accolades for her remarkable work. At WCBS, Jordan was on a team that won awards, and she was nominated for 2 Emmy awards because of her reporting on the mass transit strike. Then, when she worked at News 12 Westchester, she won 2 Emmy Awards, one for her work on-camera. Her high school, Peekskill High School, even honored her by putting her in their Alumni Hall of Fame in the year 2003.
