Prior to her time in St. Louis, she worked as a weekend news anchor and weekday news reporter at WBIR-TV 10News in the Knoxville, Tennessee Area from July 2011 to August 2014.
Earlier in her career, Meckles served as an Anchor and Writer at Newsy in the Columbia, Missouri Area from February 2010 to July 2011 and as a Reporter and Anchor at KOMU-TV in the same location from September 2007 to July 2011. She interned at NBC in the Greater New York City Area with NBC Nightly News in the summer of 2010. Meckles began her journalism career as a State Capitol Reporter at Missouri Digital News in Jefferson City, Missouri, from January 2009 to May 2009.
Throughout her career, Meckles has covered a variety of stories.
