Jensen Young Education
Young joined the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications in 2019 after completing his high school education at Winter Park High School. In 2023, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism.
During his time in college, Young worked as a sports anchor for WUFT News, updating the Gainesville region on local sports news. He also worked for WRUF as a sports writer, writing articles on several topics like college-level basketball, the NBA, the NFL, and the MLB.
Young received a promotion to WRUF’s Gators Beat reporter. In this role, he covered three Gators Sports, including Gators Football in the 2021 season, Gators Volleyball in the 2020-2021 season, and Gators Men’s and Women’s Basketball in the 2021 season.
