Hayes joined FOX59 and CBS4 from WISH-TV in Indianapolis, where she was a morning reporter and fill-in anchor. Before that, she worked at the CBS affiliate in Terre Haute, Indiana, as an anchor, reporter, and weather forecaster.
Prior to leaving Indiana, she was an assignment editor at the CBS affiliate in Washington, DC. She’s earned awards from the Indiana AP Broadcasters Association, Society of Professional Journalists, and IBA Spectrum Awards. Before a career in the news, she was a public relations executive in New York City.
