He has covered so many national and international events such as World Cup Soccer; in 1992, swimming and soccer competitions at the Olympics for NBC, and the ’96 Summer Olympics for NBC/3News; in 1994. He has been hosting the Soap Box Derby PBS live national coverage since 1991. For thirteen years, he has provided coverage of the CVS Cleveland Marathon.

Furthermore, from 1987 to 1997, he was the play-by-play announcer for NBC Sports’ NFL games. Notably, he was awarded an Emmy for Best Sportscaster in 1995.  Previously, he had received an Emmy for “Browns ’92; The Next Step” in 1992. The Cleveland Press Club named him the all-Ohio Best Sportscaster in 1988, for his report on Bob Golic’s farewell to the Cleveland Browns in 1990.

Not long ago he provided play-by-play basketball and hockey coverage for the Satellite News Channel in Burlington, Vermont. Furthermore, in the Vermont Reds, a Cincinnati Reds minor league baseball team, he served as a play-by-play announcer for one season.

While in St. Cloud, Minnesota was when his career in journalism began at WJON Radio where he served as a sports director. Additionally, he did play-by-play and sports anchoring at WEZF-TV and WVMT Radio. Prior to serving as spokesperson for the Kidney Foundation of Ohio.

Further, he participated in events benefiting the American Lung Association, Arthritis Foundation, and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundations. Boston is his native home. He attended Boston University where he graduated proudly. As of the moment, he resides in Hinckley with his family.
