His interest in weather began at an early age after watching the weather on TV as well as jumping and rolling in puddles during and after a storm. He attended Penn State University where he graduated proudly. Later on, his journalism career started on radio forecasts daily across the nation eventually jumping to television on the last day of 1999 on MSNBC.
In his career, he has covered everything from blizzards, thunderstorms, and hurricanes, to tornadoes. Furthermore, his most memorable moment was the record-breaking 2005 hurricane season in addition to making appearances on television in Canada, South Korea, Japan, and China as well as the late-night talk show circuit.
Furthermore, for his outstanding work as a meteorologist, he has been awarded many awards over the years inclusive of the Weatherate’s Most Accurate Forecast in Salt Lake City, Kansas City, and Atlanta, and the Maine Association of Broadcaster’s Forecaster of the Year on numerous occasions. During his leisure time, he enjoys Softball and volleyball, rescuing pets, and spending time with his son.
