At KETV, he co-produced “When the Siren Sounds,” a 30-minute severe weather safety, as well as an awareness program. It also won the Ak-Sar-Ben Gold Award, which was received from the Nebraska Broadcasters Association.
Away from his Journalism job, Calhoun works as an Adjunct Professor at Millersville University. He has worked as a Basketball Coach at Manheim Township High School for 17 years.
