She started as a news reporter and weekend news anchor at WDTV in November 2019 and held that role for 1 year and 3 months, transitioning to morning news anchor.
Some of the big moments in her career happened when she worked at WDTV. She covered the trial of a famous serial killer, Reta Mays, interviewed the Governor of West Virginia, hosted special election programs, and was the first news anchor to co-host the 11 p.m. news on weekdays in the station’s history. Prior to joining WDTV, Fedko was in college, and while there she was an Editorial Intern at Modern Luxury in Miami Beach, Florida for 1 year (August 2017 – August 2018).
Even though Fedko majors in reporting on news stories, she really loves politics. She says that she’d like to be a commentator and political correspondent for major TV networks.
