She has served the station for over 2 decades. Before joining the station, she worked as an anchor and reporter at KYW CBS 3 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for 2 years. While in Philadelphia, she was in charge of the “Eat at Your Own Risk” specials.
Scullin has been in Minnesota for 14 years, but she had to travel a long way to get here. She launched her career inside a TV barn in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. She then worked in Greenville before moving to Evansville as an anchor and reporter at WEHT. Next, she was an investigative reporter at KSL 5 Eyewitness News in Salt Lake City, Utah, for 5 years.
Scullin has broadcast crime stories for much of her career, notably the abduction and return of Elizabeth Smart. Also, she saw an execution by lethal injection. However, the story she still thinks about to this day is when 10-year-old Barway Collins of Crystal, Minnesota, vanished, only to be found tragically killed.
Scullin loves to broadcast stories that shed light on significant matters and give people a voice in their communities. She believes that those who work every day to make a positive impact despite challenges deserve to be heard. Besides the Minnesota State Fair, the most fun stories she has broadcast was the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic games, which allowed her to meet people and athletes from all over the world.
