Furthermore, in her career as a journalist., she has been awarded an Associated Press award for Best Political Coverage for a six-part series titled “Fines, Fees, and a Flawed System.” She attended Texas Christian University where she graduated magna cum laude with departmental honors with a degree in broadcast journalism.
