Lopez has served multiple TV and radio stations across the Deep South. She launched her on-air career, reporting for WKAG in Clarksville, Tennessee. While in Clarksville, she broadcast the 101st Airborne Division’s search and kill mission for Uday and Qusay Hussein during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Later, she relocated to Middle Georgia, where she was a field anchor and reporter for WMGT in Macon.
During her time in Macon, Lopez broadcast stories about migrant farmers during the height of the state’s strong call for Immigration Reform. Also, she solo-anchored WMGT-TV’s morning show, “Day Break.” Also, she covered military news in Middle Tennessee.
Lopez uses her free time to volunteer with different community service organizations. Also, she loves to do voice work for the visually impaired.
