Lake hosted 47 episodes of HGTV’s how-to show Spice Up My Kitchen between May 2007 and 2009. Lake, strangely, sees her lack of professional design expertise as a strength. Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court, Lake’s own tabloid talk/courtroom series, premiered on September 23, 2013, and was produced by MGM Television. It aired for seven seasons, ending on February 29, 2021. Lake heard paternity cases, made decisions, and provided DNA test results. Following COVID-19-related financial issues with its network, MGM, the show was discontinued.
