Luann de Lesseps (real name – LuAnn Nadeau) is an American TV personality, Actress, Model, Singer, and Author, well-known for starring in several shows/films such as Bravo’s The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy. She is also known for appearing in other shows such as “The Real Housewives of New York City”, “Difficult People”, “Countess Luann: Feelin’ Jovani”, “Eden”, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”, “Maternal Secrets”, “Uber Eats: Money Can Buy You Class”, and “ZIWE”.
Lesseps is a proud alumnus of Berlin High School, where she was a captain of the varsity softball team. She is famous for appearing in many TV shows and acting in several films, which are mentioned above. She started headlining her cabaret show, “Countess and Friends”, in the year 2018. As a model, Lesseps used to model with the modeling agency company, Wilhelmina Models. Lesseps has also been licensed as a practical nurse in Connecticut. She served at the 72nd Miss USA pageant as a telecast judge, on September 29, 2023. The pageant took place at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada.

In the year 2018, De Lesseps’s kids (Victoria and Noel) and her ex-husband (Count Alexandre de Lesseps) took her to court. They said she sold the family home in Bridgehampton, NY, worth $8 M. Instead of putting the money in a trust fund for Victoria and Noel, as per her divorce agreement with Count, Lesseps used it to buy a new home in Sag Harbor, Long Island, New York. The lawsuit was dropped in the year 2019, and the family patched things up.
In December 2017, Lesseps was arrested in Palm Beach, Florida. The charges included making threats against a public servant, resisting arrest, disorderly intoxication, and battery of an officer. She was let go without bail but faced a 3rd-degree felony charge on January 25, 2018. After being released, she went into a program to help with alcohol issues.
In July 2018, Lesseps sorted out the problems related to her arrest in Palm Beach. She decided to admit guilt for misdemeanor charges like trespassing, battery, and disorderly intoxication. In return, they dropped the more serious charge of resisting an officer with violence. Lesseps agreed to not drink alcohol for a year, attend 2 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings each week, and do 50 hours of community service.
In May 2019, Lesseps was arrested for suspected probation violations but was later released. In August 2019, she finished her probation. Lesseps ate at a fancy restaurant called Le Diplomate in Washington, DC, in the year 2021, and left without paying. A few days later, she settled her unpaid bill.

Lesseps’ RHONY fellow cast, Bethenny Frankel, made an announcement on July 16, 2018, that Lesseps decided not to join the filming of the show’s reunion because she wanted to go back to an alcohol treatment program. She left the facility in less than 3 weeks. On March 16, 2022, Lesseps was caught on camera saying inappropriate things to the crowd at a piano bar in NYC. She issued an apology on March 18, 2022, acknowledging her ongoing struggle with alcohol.
