After working in Bismarck for three years, Gamble spent the next year-and-a-half as a weekend sports anchor and reporter in Madison, Wisconsin. While in Madison, he broadcast everything Badgers, Brewers, Packers, and Bucks.
Though he is originally from Georgia, Gamble has quickly made North Dakota his second home. This is where he met his wife and got married while making numerous friends. In 2022, he was chosen the National Sports Media Association North Dakota Sportscaster of the Year. He has also won the Eric Sevareid Award for broadcasting North Dakota high school sports and has received several other nominations for his work.
