She has worked for OneDigital Advanced Health in Chicago, Illinois as an Insurance Agent for nearly 1 year (April 2021 – February 2022).
Bart is familiar with snow because she lived near her favorite weather predictor, Punxsutawney Phil. She developed a passion for the weather when she was young by watching The Weather Channel a lot with her grandparents. She also saw the damage caused by the Joplin tornado outbreak.
In college, Bart won the title of Miss Ohio in the year 2014 and took part in the Miss America competition. She did well and reached the Top 10, earning the talent award for her ventriloquist act with her puppet, Roxy. After college, Bart got a job in Fort Myers, Florida, where she reported on tropical weather events, such as Hurricane Irma.
After being away for the fall and winter, Mackenzie came back to Columbus, Ohio, to predict the weather changes in the Ohio Valley. She’s thrilled to be near some water and is now part of the well-known Fox 8 weather team, which is a historic team.
When coming to her education, Bart is a proud alumnus of Dunlap High School, where she attended from August 2012 to May 2016. She is also an alumnus of The Ohio State University, where she majored in Atmospheric Sciences.
