He received a Press Club of Long Island award for his reporting. Prior to that, Morales was law enforcement for the Wall Street Journal. while at the station he developed high-ranking sources within the NYPD. Moreover, Mark reported on crime and policy issues concerning the NYPD such as the decline in crime and counterterrorism measures.
