He enjoys the atmosphere during a game and capturing the way sports connect a community. In his opinion, he feels that April 21, 2018, is the most memorable day in his life as this was when he married Kelly. He shared the anchor desk during his time in North Dakota with Kelly and they both love their calico cat named Stella.

During his spare time, he enjoys being his wife’s Instagram husband, spoiling his cat, hanging out at Lake Michigan, watching sports, playing cards with his grandpa, shooting hoops, and spending time with friends and family.
