While here, he has covered several breaking news which include the championship efforts of Philadelphia’s sports teams, the papal visit, and the 2015 Amtrak train derailment. Alongside his work at NBC10, he took another role in 2022 as the Mid-Atlantic Vice President for The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Before joining NBC10 and WCAU-TV, Matt served as a reporter at KVVU-TV, first as a General Assignment and Multi-Media Journalist from November 2007 to January 2009. later he became the General Assignment and Fill-in Anchor from January 2009 to May 2013.
Previously, he worked for WBOC-TV from June 2007 to October 2007 as a sports and news reporter. Before joining WBOC-TV, Matt served as a freelance reporter for CareerTV from July 2006 to October 2007. He started his career in New Jersey Network as a reporter from April 2005 to July 2006.
