Lee has served at CBS6 Albany in New York as a morning news anchor. In December 2021, she went on maternity leave to conceive her 2nd daughter. In March 2022, she announced that she would not be returning to the station, since her husband received a promotion moving us to Charlotte, North Carolina, so she had to relocate with her family.
Before joining CBS6, she anchored and reported in Macon, Georgia, and Knoxville, Tennessee. She covered everything from the killing and dismembering of a Mercer law school graduate to NASCAR races at Atlanta Motor Speedway during her stay in the Song and Soul of the south. Lee has helped cover the consequences of tornadoes across East Tennessee in Vol Country. She has started a new program called Foodie Friday after monitoring roadways in the morning.
When coming to her education, Lee attended the University of South Florida in Tempa where she successfully graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. Growing up in Florida and spending countless hours on the beach, Lee’s love for the ocean is immeasurable. A two-year stint in the Great Smoky Mountains gave birth to hobbies is so enthusiastic about, canoeing and hiking.
Despite her busy schedule as a news anchor, she is also a good cook trying new recipes and exploring new areas with her husband and rescue dog. Lee is never choosy she partakes in all activities the capital has to offer. She is looking forward to tracking season in Saratoga Springs, hiking in the Adirondacks, and sledding in Washington Park.
