Mike Cejka is an American Emmy Award-winning Meteorologist and Anchor working for WIVB in Buffalo, New York as a morning/noon meteorologist. Prior to joining the station in January 1983, he worked for WABI-TV.

When it comes to his education, Cejka is a proud 1981 alumnus of Lyndon State College located in Lyndonville, Vermont. He graduated from the university with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Meteorology.

Mike Cejka Arrested
In January 2010, there was a report about Trespassing charges against Cejka. It happened because an Old Beattie Road man noticed Cejka messing with a motorcycle in his yard around 4 a.m. on December 14, 2009, and he quickly called 911 for help. Jonathan Andres (a Niagara County Sheriff’s Deputy) tried to stop Cejka after he ran a stop sign while driving on Rapids Road. Even though the deputy used emergency lights, Cejka didn’t stop his Jeep Grand Cherokee and kept driving away, as reported.
Jonathan Andres kept following Cejka because he thought Cejka might have been trying to steal something. When Cejka’s vehicle finally stopped on Rapids Road, Jonathan told Cejka to get out of the Jeep and put his hands up. But instead of doing that, Cejka was reaching for his pants. So, Andres told him to lie on the ground, and he put handcuffs on Cejka. The deputy then checked Cejka to make sure he didn’t have any weapons. He found a tube of Vaseline Petroleum Jelly Lubricant and an LED flashlight. Cejka was wearing leather chaps, small sweatpants, dress shoes, a dress shirt, and a leather jacket, as the report says.
Cejka didn’t want to say why he was wearing leather chaps, but he later explained that he worked for WIVB Channel 4 and was going to work. He mentioned he used Vaseline for his lips because he talks a lot during the day. According to the report, Cejka told the police that he was going to his job in Buffalo from Clarence and stopped to look at a motorcycle he liked from the summer. He said he didn’t want to steal it; he just liked it and he wanted to see it again. Cejka had to go to town court again in January 2010.
