De Lucia’s passion for visual storytelling began at a young age. In this capacity, she went to a Film and Television program at Miller Career and Technology Center (MCTC) and the New York Film Academy (NYFA), as well as anchored her high school’s morning newscast. She then decided to pursue her passion, making a career out of the art of creating visual narratives.
After graduating from college, De Lucia worked for Raquel Cepeda Music LLC as a media producer and publicity assistant. Soon after, she relocated to RGV to launch her career at KRGV Channel 5 News as a part-time video editor. She decided to expand her horizons and joined KRGV’s Spanish web team as a Spanish digital producer and digital anchor for the Spanish language news on the digital channel 5.2 Noticias RGV.
During her role as a digital anchor, De Lucia broadcast several big news stories for Noticias RGV’s digital platforms, including the Victor Godinez capital murder case, the SpaceX launches, local events, multiple local elections, high school football season, and news across the border in Mexico.
De Lucia has worked as the producer of the Salud y Vida health segment for Noticias RGV since 2023. In this role, she has delivered the most recent health news in Spanish.
