Faunce serves at WDBJ 7 News as a weekday evening news anchor, appearing on the 6 PM newscasts. Shee also produces “Here @ Home,” a program on WDBJ that airs from Monday through Friday at 3 PM. This is her second stint at the station – her first one was from 1997 to 1998, where he served as a news reporter, anchor, and producer. It was during her first stint there that she started her journalism career.
After Faunce’s first stint at WDBJ, she went to work as an Anchor and Reporter at WJHL-TV in Johnson City, Tennessee from January 1997 until January 2000. She then moved on to KLKN-TV in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she worked as a News Anchor from February 2001 to September 2005. Following this, she served as a News Anchor and Reporter at WFXR-TV in Roanoke, Virginia for nearly one and a half years until March 2007. She then transitioned to a role in public relations, becoming the Director of Public Relations at Ferrum College from March 2007 to December 2010.

Her significant expertise led her to VA811 (Virginia Utility Protection Service, Inc.), where she was appointed as the Head of Marketing Communications in April 2020 and served until November 2021.
