She reported on wildfires that scorched thousands of acres, tornadoes that ravaged communities, serial killers, and violent crimes that devastated families. Her compression for people earned many exclusive stories. She has provided extensive breaking news experience while working as a nightside reporter.

Her career in TV news began as a weekend news anchor and reporter for WAGT (NBC) and a reporter for WJBF (ABC) while in Augusta, Georgia. She covered the case of a missing priest from Jacksonville, Florida, found murdered in Burke County while in the Augusta-Aiken, South Carolina, area including other stories.

She moved to Florida with her family at the age of ten as she was born and raised in Jamaica. As an intern, she reported for GTN News (NBC/CBS) while still in college.
