Santos obtained exclusive footage of the terrorists partying during the attack’s aftermath. This took place months before they went on to murder, she interviewed two friends among the six suspects in Brussel’s notorious Molenbeek suburb.
Upon her joining the network, she has featured various events globally including the Dominique Strauss-Kahn arrest in New York and the International Monetary Fund. She became the first journalist to highlight the debate among female IMF staff on whether it was time for a woman at the helm and to get a copy of the former managing director’s leaving letter which he wrote while in jail.
Being an experienced moderator, she has chaired meetings at different panels of the German Marshall Fund of the United States and the World Economic Forum. She has also hosted several live events at London’s Chatham House, at the Ambrosetti Forum’s annual gathering in Cernobbio, Italy, and at the European Parliament in Brussels.
