Previously, Brown served as the network’s Justice and Supreme Court correspondent where she covered the U.S. Supreme Court and law enforcement, and national security. Brown has traveled across the network since her joining the network covering various headlines including Japan, Denmark, Ireland, France, and Germany.
She began her career as a Sunday evening anchor and an Emmy-nominated special projects reporter at ABC7/WJLA-TV and NewsChannel8 in Washington D.C. There she covered various international and national stories. In January 2010, Brown became one of the few local journalists who traveled to earthquake-ravaged Haiti.
