Patrick Fazio is an American Emmy Award-winning Anchor and Reporter working for WMAQ-TV NBC 5 Chicago in Illinois as a weekday morning anchor and evening reporter. Prior to joining the station in July 2017, he worked for KSHB/KMCI.

Prior to joining KSHB/KMCI, Fazio worked for WTWO-TV in Terre Haute, Indiana as a Weekday Evening News Anchor and Reporter from February 2006 to July 2013.
He worked at WICS-TV in Springfield, Illinois as a Sports Director from December 2001 to August 2004. He has also worked at KIDK-TV in Idaho Falls, Idaho as a Sports Anchor, Reporter, Producer, Editor, and Photographer. Over the years of his career, he has covered many international stories including those of Poland and Israel. He has interviewed various public figures such as; Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Mike Pence, United States Senators, military generals, Congress members, and governors.
Throughout his career, he has managed to win multiple awards, including the First Amendment Award from Professional Journalists of the Society of Indiana, 10 Edward R. Murrow Awards, and 7 Emmy Awards. the Missouri Broadcasters Association has also recognized Fazio as the Best Investigative Reporter. The investigations he has made, are all aimed at aiding to free a man who is wrongly arrested and also leading to new laws.
Fazio’s reports earned several awards including 2 national Wilbur Awards for best local television coverage on religion. For Public Service in Television Journalism, the Society of Professional Journalists awarded him the national Sigma Delta Chi Award.
