Williams worked as the co-host of Dish Nation from 2013 to 2021. She, alongside Gizelle Bryant, Hannah Berner, and Kate Chastain, co-hosted Bravo’s Chat Room in 2020. Further, she starred in the spin-off series Porsha’s Family Matters.

Williams has been an activist since George Floyd’s death due to police violence. She, alongside 86 others, was arrested outside the home of Daniel Cameron, Kentucky Attorney General, on July 15, 2020. They were charged with tormenting a participant in a legal process, unruly conduct, and criminal trespass. At the time, she called for Daniel to arrest the officers involved in the shooting of Breonna Taylor. They were released on July 16, 2020.
Williams issued her memoir, The Pursuit of Porsha, in 2021. In March 2023, she served as Tinsley Mortimer’s last-minute replacement on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. She worked as the producer of a single and music video dubbed “Flatline.” She also performed “Legs, Hips, Body,” featuring Kandi Burruss and D. Woods. Additionally, she has been featured in more songs for Burruss’s A Mother’s Love musical. In late March 2014, Williams went viral for an altercation with Moore while filming the reunion of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 6 at the Biltmore Hotel. Moore hinted that Williams was unfaithful during her marriage after she called her a “slut from the ’90s.” The argument escalated, resulting in Williams physically assaulting Moore.
After the altercation, Moore threatened to leave the series if Williams remained, stating that their conflict had reached extreme levels. On December 29, 2014, Williams was arrested for speeding while driving with a suspended license but was released the same day.
